“Tha River” Ends

This is the final episode of ‘Tha River’ and I must say, for a cartoon that was made from sheer boredom it became a really fun journey. With the music provided by Shanasaki (my Darling younger cousin, and very talented Composer/Singer), this episode was giving that extra spark making it come together beautifully.

” Eye Contact of Attraction “

thinkifications

Welcome the Bizarre Labs third installment of ‘Thinkifications’,  the topic is The eye contact of attraction, how does it work ? To answer this question instead of researching the web I’ve decided to do a field study, conducting  interviews with female civilians and using their opinions to make my conclusion on the matter of eye contact of attraction. Chosen from  groups I consider of dating ages, between 18 and 40 to me anyway. I came across three women willing to share their opinions with us, and I personally don’t think I could have selected a better lot, they all touch the same theme on the circumstances under which they give the eye contact of attraction and what’s expected after. I believe this information will be useful for not only approaching women based on attraction but in dealing with most women in a range of situations, like the clerk at the DMV or the Bosses old angry hag secretary.

I’ve noticed women seem to use eye contact and or the non-eye contact rather as a defense mechanism . Once they’ve noticed the object (man) of attraction , the eye is giving, now without going in depth about the woman’s confidence or insecurity, lets just say they all watch for a short time.  The bottom line is if they’re attracted, you’ll get the eye contact BUT they’re  not looking for eye contact, their feeling for confidence. So don’t  get puzzled when a woman gives you a glance and never turns your way again, the glance was the signal. Or don’t expect to be turned down if you didn’t get eye contact, chances are you missed her glance. Eye contact  is a call for your confidence. If the confidence isn’t seen and felt, the joker card you’re dealt .

Listening to hear

Greetings and welcome to the Bizarre Lab, in this post i’d like to touch on one of the most important gifts ever bestowed on Mankind (by “_?_” your chosen name for it.) , the ability to hear. During my studies I’ve learned a lot about how the ears work, the science of listening more or less. So many unwanted situations persist in our lives because of what we do or don’t pick up on (hearing). The issue is we can only choose from a small amount of information our ears receive, this is all we have to believe in at every and any given moment (seconds). Now when i say believe it’s based on selective auditory attention, we literally hear want we want to hear so to speak, regardless to what we think, our bodies use sound as a survival mechanism, hence the reaction of a person familiar with a real gun shot, or how parents can single out their childs voice amongst a crowd of children. All due to the process by which the temporal lobe has concentrated on the sound of the given variable. The ears have heard the sound so much that is like going over a white paper with a yellow marker…until it turns to a light gold damp branding on the paper. The deeper the stain, the easier to notice, and from a greater distance as well. You can add that the directions of the marker strokes would be like the specific patterns of that given variable, so that when the pattern is out of sync, an alarm goes off and we enter fight or flight mode. Downside is, these levels of physiology tend to lower EQ (Emotional Intelligence), leading to bad decision making.

This is all a very natural process, we just forget that virtually every part of our bodies can be exercised, what goes for singing goes for hearing. There is a catch as always, the hard part, the work, you see in order to practice listening we have to do the opposite of sound, no voice sounds or thinking sounds. This seems to be hard for most people having arguments, we have to catch that thought we just came up with before we forget and/or damn this person is making no sense or is taking forever to get to the point( like what person can truly experience forever ?). While sound travels out, imagine how difficult it would be for sound to come in completely. I’ve notice the coolest people seem very patient and attentive towards what people say, maybe they picked up on it or maybe it came natural. The point is we can all do it.

LISTENING TO HEAR

Art by JaRon Brown

When talking to one and another, how easy it is to forget what a complicated thing human speech is, no matter the language. The pattern of sound that make up talking would look crazy if we could throw paint on sound waves as it leaves our lips(probably like the splashing of waterfalls shooting out interlocking rings). As these waves reach our nervous systems and brain it’s decoded in a way, the patterns we know of but do not need to be aware of are ejected from specific attention. This also includes unfamiliar concepts, and things we’ve learned to avoid because past experiences of discomfort. Imagine a situation, A non-spanish speaking man walks into a spanish restaurant, he sits thinking about a spanish dish that he likes but doesn’t know how to say the dish in spanish. He desperately wants the Chicken chunky’s con rice and beans, so when the waitress at the counter asks for his order he just blurts out ‘ I’d like some fried Chicken Chunks with rice’. The woman isn’t familiar with the term so now she’s faced with the dilemma of this guy trying to explain, other orders need to be attended to, so to get things moving she replies ‘ dis all we hav ‘ pointing to a dried out roasted chicken in the hot pan behind her on the heaters. At first the guy gets upset, feeling insulted by her lacking comprehension of the english tongue, but ignoring what he thought he keyed in on her voice, she sound hurried, her english was very poor, more than likely she didn’t understand his swift american tongue. With a smile he asks ‘ may I see the menu por favor?’ . She returns the smile passes him the menu in which he finds all dishes with translations, and in beautiful sky blue italic bold Georgia font read Fried Chicken chunks under the bold black Chicharron De Pollo. His happiness shining alerted the woman as she seemed to have witness the man discovering his discovery. He raised the menu and pointed to his selected dish, few minutes later he walk out the restaurant a happy man. Moral is, listening saved this moment for both individuals, had the guy not listened and let his thoughts do the talking he wouldn’t have picked up the language barrier. Pretty sure all she heard was  unfamiliar patterns, not being translated as fast as it’s they were being received. He would have wanted to walk out with the desired dish but left with a side order of racist thoughts instead.

So listening to hear is a way to exercise this gift, thats what meditation is all about, quieting the mind. We are really as big as our shouts carry, which can reach up to a mile, so in proportion to that the silence we can reach matches that deepness within us. But once again the deeper you go into yourself, the darker it gets, remember we put what we don’t want to show away, preferably where no light nor eye can touch. Hearing the dark in you is the only place to find your light.

Be Good to yourself.

Thinkifications- Mark Anthony Ramirez

thinkifications

Welcome to the bizarre lab, in this Thinkification video I’m pleased to have Stand up Comedian and Writer Mark Anthony Ramirez shoot with me. The topic of race is one of the main issues in our Country and the fact that we ignore it doesn’t do any good. I’m the type of person who can’t help but think of ways to solve issues like this one, and I’m glade to know I’m not the only one with this stubborn optimism, So does Mark, seen on ABC, MTV, and Comedy Central; Heard and seen on Howard Stern, The Joey Reynolds Show, National Lampoon Radio, and Court TV Radio, The Me & Vinnie Show, Cosmo Radio on Sirius Satellite Radio. Mark gives the bizarre lab his insightful and comedic take on Race for this second installment of “Thinkifications”. Enjoy ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqfa-RBvjLg&feature=youtu.be

Blame change

Blame is the center of the clock
Forgetting the gears turn within
The hands spin and point non-stop
To all except where they begin
as if cogs don’t move the parts.
We blame others all the time
No it wasn’t me
Must’ve been the other guy
The fault is yours
Not mine
Blame leads nowhere
doesn’t make a difference why
Blame doesn’t stay anywhere
It just changes sides.

Vision

Good vision comes with time
So look passed old crimes
Move on to new grinds
And try to keep in mind
It ends when you die
Weather you believe
in the kingdom in the sky
Or reincarnation
The end still applies
The start is life
Between which visions Thrive.
Shapes are formed
By handless eyes
Rods stab realities depths
And colors dotted by cones
Reflect spectrums of light
That shine mountain tops
And dims the Valleys just right.

Happy becomes Sad

Warm Happy to cold sad is heart

From the decay, happiness grows

Unimaginable piles of dark, glows

Each breath thinner, swallow

Suffocates the lungs so

Sun’s rays ebbed by shadow

The road most traveled

Shall become filled with pits

Great fall of great goals

A smile given much

Long side a numbed touch

Heart has changed to stone

Which beats as such?

Not for riches of material

Nor passage of heavens bluff

A battle rages and a mind divided

Happy is being subsided

Sad begins rising

Strength is replaced with a weak

Confusion is now a natural feel

Loss is the permanent statement

Of the soul

Cry is comfort and protection

Sad is the solitude

Where the dark is home and safe

From the light of moon.

One and other, The two halves of the whole.

This will be based on what I know to be metaphysics; A topic that is never really touched in our time maybe because of our underlying beliefs. To me, metaphysics can alleviate most of the anxieties of living when applied to ourselves , Without losing your current beliefs, metaphysics provides an inner peace through studying that inner awareness we call our egos or our persons by way of anatomical knowledge. By using a very practical thought processing to translate our complex connections, I hope to give folks something they can really hold as a reminder of what life really is, rather than having concepts that separate us from what is, like the globe for example has lines of latitude, longitude and borders, however when taking a trip high above the atmosphere you will witness no lines or borders lay across the planet. Metaphysics when applied will remind you that the lines are made up, imaginary, an institution, we all as humans just agree to use the concept of borders, meridians and parallels for navigating and pin pointing places on the planet.

Now going into what I believe to be our metaphysics to explain two halves of the whole (self). There is no self without other. For example, I am me and you reading this right now are you, in this moment you could say I’m speaking to you from the past. I’ve sent this message to the future which in this whole transaction takes place in eternity. But when you reverse the pole you refer to yourself as me. You would Say I am reading your words in which the ‘your’ is referred to as me. The other is always the object because one’s self is always the subject. I always am the center and you are always an object to me, no matter how you flip the point of view it is always this situation. Very practical connection yes, but not exactly considered until we get the feeling of loneliness.

When you touch an object you determine, anything other than self you call it hard or soft depending on your being soft or hard. Objects can only be hard to soft skin, but in relation to the hard skins, the object is soft. This can also be seen in relation to feelings. When a man or woman (self) feels happy, it is in relation to any object or objectives, the pole to this is when the self feels bad in relation to any object or objection. The pole is good and bad because there are no ways of knowing what are good feelings without also knowing what a bad feeling is.

The conscious attention which we call the ego works on this principal. In this case the ego is the response of the body to the environment. Without the environment, there could be nothing for the body to sense or respond to, hence no ego to witness itself. Without something or someone to compare and/or relate the self with, neither exists, neither is. This is the whole thing, the existence, the being. To end this article I will say, I hope that you play with it, try and find something that existence in relation to nothing, then find out how many things in existence have a relation. This is the one and other.

Love, JaRon

“Tough ol Democat”

Democratic Senator of Vermont Bernie Sanders gets credit for his efforts as public servant, putting on record that he’s opposed to another attempt by the elite who-ever’s to attack social security. This time they tried to schedule benefits for retirees by 0.3 percentage points annually and use the media to cover it up. First thing that strikes me is, how many other secret policies have they cooked up to rob us. They tax us in so many ways that they’re digging in the pockets of pants we haven’t even bought yet.
Now I followed the math on this and it checks out, according to Dean Baker at Huffington post, the reduction would have amounted to a cut of 3 percent after 10 years, 6 percent after 20 years, and 9 percent after 30 years. That’s a clever trick knowing that the living expectancy has gone up when you think about it.
I have to side with Senator Bernie on another one of his views, like the Global Warming issue, taking aim at greenhouse gasses. Instead of going after old people and poor people for money he goes after the big guys. Along with Senate Environment and public works chairwoman Barbara Boxer, Senator Sanders moves to push legislation that will put a price on climate emissions. However, the other side to that is how far could something like pricing climate emissions go? Global Warming police , giving fines for old mufflers, BBQ’s and camp fires. ??? Whatever, links for more info below…
